Milton Menace Preview: Menace vs Toronto Patriots– October 13, 2023

Friday nights at the Milton Memorial Arena are always a hit, and this one will be no different. The Milton Menace will welcome the Toronto Patriots to town tonight as they look for a win on home ice.

Milton continued their winning ways with a 4-1 win in Brantford against the 99ers on Thursday. Alexander Siletsky and Ivan Fabjan put up goals in their second and third straight games, respectively. Alessandro Petreccia and Nicholas Wereha also each added goals for the Menace. Milton’s special teams went to work with Petreccia’s goal coming on the power play, and Wereha’s goal was scored while the Menace were short-handed. Glen Crandall made 25 saves for Milton, and the Menace put up an impressive 44 shots on Brantford.

Friday’s game will be the first of four meetings between the Menace and Patriots this season. After this one, they’ll play again in just over a week on October 22. Toronto comes into the game off back-to-back wins against Mississauga last weekend. They have a 6-4-0-1 record on the season.

When Milton hits the ice on Friday, they will be looking for their seventh straight win. In their last six, they have outscored their opponents 23-10. They’ve built on each game that passes and continue to improve various aspects of their play. Toronto is another intraconference opponent, so like Brantford, these points can be crucial to the standings, especially come the end of the season. It is important to get wins early like the Menace have done thus far.

Grab your tickets and spend your Friday night with the Menace at the Milton Memorial Arena. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. and we want to see you at the rink! If you can’t make it out, you can stream the game on FloHockey or follow along on Milton’s social media for game updates.
